My mom (despite her Western name and appearance) was born and raised in a village in the mountains of Lebanon. She married my dad and shortly after moved to the U.S... Thirty years and three daughters later, she is still passing down one of her many talents to her daughters, their friends and now to everyone who reads this. Elaine has transformed many lebanese dishes to healthier and more accessible eats, that even her inept economics student daughter (me!) can prepare them.
